Born in Yogjakarta, Sonia Prabowo is now based in Bali, Indonesia and work for projects both in Bali and Jakarta. Interested in art since junior high, but graduated from Faculty of Economics, University of Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta. She once commented: "I was born in the wrong era".
Her interest in knowing and understanding people strengthens her ability to produce a "so you" portraiture photograph. She claims everything has it sensual side and style, and from there comes out honest and unique photos. Natural and available lighting is her fave. No artificial source can compete with God's given light.
